Do you like working with children?

Adventures Plus is a child care program providing summer care for elementary and middle school age students and is located in various schools throughout the District.

DATES & SUMMER HOURS: June 9 - August 25 - Monday thru Friday, 2 to 8 hours per day (closed July 3 and 4)

Child Care Assistants (CCAs)supervise and interact with school-age children and assist in planning appropriate activities. Activities involve art, sports, out door activities as well as field trips on-site and off-site.

Must be 16 years of age at time of hire. Some experience working with children

Rate of Pay: $15.00/hr ($14.00 for individuals without a HS degree).

Support Staff (Lane 2) positions support children with special needs according to the child's inclusion plan. Supervise and interact with school-age children and assist in planning appropriate activities. Perform a group leadership role if requested.

Requires 1040 hrs of paid experience working with children and 120 hours of education in a child-related area -or- 12 quarter credits in a child-related area or- completion of the Para Pro Assessment, PLUS six months consistent employment working with children, or 1040 hours of paid experience working with children

Rate of Pay:$16.50/hour; $17.25/hour with AA degree. This position is Premium Pay Eligible
