What This Job is About:

The Chief of Staff serves RedPeg as the right hand support to the agencies CEO. This role supports, manages, and executes against all business development work initiated or driven by the CEO. This individual will play an active role in new business opportunities, engaging in a range of activities that cut across all levels of the organization. The Chief of Staff must be highly organized, able to provide the CEO with a daily rundown of activities, and must be experienced enough to meet with, talk to, and coorespond with potential clients and internal resources on behalf of the CEO. This role will have a heavy administrative function to it, but due to the nature of the role, someone with a client services background within Experiential Marketing is preferred.

Main Responsibilities
Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Day-to-day business development administrative support to the CEO including:
    • Email outreach and follow up with new and existing leads, occasionally serving as main point of contact
    • Scheduling
    • Preparation and research for meetings
    • Meetings notes/minutes
  • Tracking outreach and oversight of CEO’s external communications, ensuring timeliness and inclusion of relevant messaging/content
  • Responding to daily miscellaneous requests and projects related to business development needs
  • Providing daily briefings to CEO on business development activities and priorities, as well as briefing CEO on the daily schedule.
  • Liaising between CEO and internal teams regarding new business opportunities and existing client related matters
  • Serving as a strategic contributor and project manager for deliverables such as one sheets and decks
  • Identifying and procuring existing marketing collateral, working with appropriate internal teams as necessary
  • Attending meetings alongside, or in place of, CEO, documenting pertinent information, clearly defining next steps, and ensuring that all actions are followed up on
  • Staying abreast of all relevant activity within RedPeg, effectively communicating details to required parties
  • Monitoring competing agencies, brands, trends, and opportunities within the experiential industry for both future business development and current client projects
  • Provides general support to agency growth initiatives initiated or driven by the CEO.

What You’re All About:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, preferably Marketing or Business Management
  • Minimum five years of agency experience working in a business development, client services and/or marketing role
  • Experience working in experiential marketing required
  • Strong initative, and ability to take the next steps without being prompted to do so
  • Prior experience directly supporting a C-Level Leader is required
  • Willingness to be in the office on average 4 days a week
  • Highly proficient in Keynote and other Mac programs

  • Ability to work independently or in a collaborative environment
