Chick-fil-A Front of House Shift Leader

Your Role on our team!

To plan, setup and execute the operations of the restaurant on a daily and weekly basis. The leader will work in tandem with the rest of the team on a daily basis, focusing on communicating goals and values, while helping all team members stay positive, on task and efficient. From a structure standpoint, there will be times when this leader is Person in Charge, and other times when they perform more of an operational/positional role. Regardless of role for a specific day, this person is expected to lead at all times. A summary of characteristics, requirements and responsibilities are listed below.

  • Available to close at least 3 days per week, willing to work 45 hours per week

Base Responsibilities

  • This is a floor position, and not an office role.
  • Must be able to be on your feet for an extended period of time.
  • Able to work in a fast paced work environment.
  • Ability to organize and lead shift in its entirety
  • Strong knowledge and ability to execute the following Operational tasks:
  • Front of House team member systems and positions
  • Drive Thru/iPOS systems
  • Mobile/On Demand Ordering
  • Cash Management and Accountability: Loomis, Smart Safe and daily cash
  • Back Office Software: inFORM, Servicepoint and @CFA Home
  • Vendors – who to call in what situations
  • Complete knowledge and mastery of Front of House operations
  • Specific capacity role outside of daily operations (ordering, HR, training etc.)
  • Ability to open or close the restaurant as lead – without presence of a Director

Job Type: Full-time
