The Process Engineer is responsible for developing and maintaining the operational standards of the plant.

· Maintain safety awareness through participation in Safety Meetings and communications.

· Maintain housekeeping expectations.

Position Responsibilities

· Develop and maintain operating standards on existing equipment. Publish work instructions. Train staff on new or updated work instructions and monitor compliance.

· Develop and implement process improvements. Trial and qualify improvements with operational staff

· Identify opportunities for improvement in existing equipment and control systems

· Develop reporting systems for operational metrics

· Work with Innovation group for new product testing and plant introduction

· Reduce complexity in all processes using ITW tools (USa, MRD, In-Lining, etc.)

· Work with Manufacturing Engineer and assist in developing design specifications for new or modified equipment

· Assist Manufacturing Engineer in developing qualification testing for new or modified equipment

· Develop operational standards on new equipment or processes

· Work with Manufacturing Engineer and assist in developing design specifications for new or modified equipment

Communication/Other Duties

· Maintains good housekeeping.

· Follows all company and customer safety, health and environmental policies and procedures.

· Responds to change productively.

· Handles other duties as required.

· Follow appropriate quality procedures and work instructions.

· Assist in training employees on appropriate items.

· Attend training classes in-plant or other locations as assigned.

Education and Additional Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
• 3-5 years in a Process Engineering role in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $62,250.88 - $95,000.00 per year
