We also received the prestigious Blue Distinction award for our Total Hip and Total Knee Replacement program from Blue Cross and Blue Shield. Medical Center of McKinney is also an Accredited Chest Pain Center by the Society of Chest Pain Centers.
McKinney is the only Texas City to crack the Top 10 on

A registered professional nurse with expertise in Endoscopy with an understanding in physiology, pathophysiology, endoscopy procedures, and pharmacodynamics of conscious sedation anesthesia and analgesia. The RN assumes responsibility and accountability for the care and teaching of patients. The RN directs and provides care to these patients utilizing therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment, instrumentation, and other health care team members. The endoscopy nurse is competent to perform the function of conscious sedation consistent with the standard of practice.
Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing required- Experience in an endoscopy setting required
- Current licensure by the State of Texas or from a Compact State if you declare the Compact State your Primary State of Residence required
- Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS required
- Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross ACLS required
- CGRN Certification preferred
