The Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana (RHI) provides quality rehabilitation services to those facing life-changing injuries or illnesses. We specialize in the areas of brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, and complex medical conditions. RHI is the only Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Model System in the state of Indiana and one of only 16 in the U.S. RHI has two locations. Our facility on the northwest side of Indianapolis provides inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services to patients 15 years of age and older. Our facility on the north side of Indianapolis specializes in outpatient, interdisciplinary brain injury services for ages 15 and older as well as serves clientele with neuro and ortho-physical therapy needs and pediatric vision needs.
SUMMARY
The Clinical Charge Nurse is a registered nurse with a keen interest in Rehabilitation Nursing who holds a CRRN.
specialty and has a history of demonstrated clinical expertise and leadership. This position is
responsible for managing all aspects of the care of patients on their assigned unit for their shift. The CCN will also be responsible to assist and support the Nurse Manager and Program Director in coordinating, evaluating, and improving care for patients on their assigned unit aged 15 and older. Candidates who are interested in the position but lack the CRRN certification will be considered for the position providing that they sit for the examination at the first possible opportunity following their being chosen for the position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
This position requires experience gained through an approved School of Nursing. A minimum of three
years of experience as a Registered Nurse or in a related position is highly desired. Progressively
responsible positions are a plus.
HOURS AND BENEFITS
- Clinical Charge Nurse - Weekend Night Shift - part time 64 hour/pay period - 7 pm-7:30 am
- Saturday, Sunday night, Either Monday or Friday night.
- IN RN license and current CPR required. Med/Surg experience preferred.
