Summary

Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing (DON):

  • Supervises nursing team members who provide direct resident care
  • Communicates with all health care providers and partners
  • Coordinates and implements nursing care as ordered by the physician and agreed to by the resident
  • Documents resident status / care / services in a timely, accurate, and comprehensive manner
  • Responsible for the provision of nursing services within the scope of licensure and in compliance with current standards of practice and corporate / care center policies and procedures
  • Follows the plan of care and ensures the overall health and well-being of each resident

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Must have an unrestricted and active Iowa (or compact state) RN license
  • Experience in skilled nursing / long term care (LTC) preferred, with knowledge and understanding of federal and state nursing facility rules and regulations, including licensing, OSHA, CDC, and Public Safety
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills specific to the English language
  • Per the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), COVID-19 vaccination is required, with exceptions for medical and religious accommodations when reasonable

Additional Information

Shift: Day Shift, Flex Scheduling

Weekend Package Option: Yes; Sat / Sun / Mon

Base Wage: $30.00/hr, Negotiable (DOE)

Years of Experience Incentive Pay: $0.20/per year, up to ten (10) years

2nd / Evening Shift Differential: $0.50/hr

Weekend Package Incentive Pay: $2.00/hr

Sign-On Recruitment Bonus: up to $7,500; paid out over six (6) months
