Job Summary
Supports BioLegend Distribution Channels and supports integration with parent company and sister company’s logistics, sales and systems. This position supports cross-functional projects to drive sales growth within Distribution Channels. Reports to Director of Strategic Channel Management.

  • Support BioLegend Distribution Channels to achieve company goals
  • Streamline daily distributor support and delegation to other departments
  • Resolve escalated issues from distributors regarding sales, logistics, pricing, competitors and other miscellaneous issues
  • Work with other departments as needed to resolve issues/optimize processes.
  • Work with Director to develop and maintain a method to evaluate distributor performance
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing distribution partners to gain intel, develop insights, recommendations to present to the team. Serve as the primary contact with BioLegend distributors.
  • Work with Director for sales forecasting, revenue growth and logistic expansion with parent company channels
  • Oversee onboarding, maintenance and termination of distributors in line with corporate strategy and to achieve sales goals
  • Implement business approved strategies within distributor contracts
  • Lead discussions on International Trade Compliance guidelines/process and ensure compliance with all channel partners
  • Work with Director and legal team to manage risk for contract changes and termination
  • Lead negotiation of contract terms with distributor
  • Support projects to integrate/synergize with parent company and sister company’s distribution chains
  • Collect and report information from BioLegend distributors including strengths, weaknesses, limitations, market/competitive intel, historical issues, sales. Independently analyze data and propose future actions to leadership team.
  • Work with contracts team to maintain an accurate and prioritized reporting system. Follow best practices
  • Other projects or responsibilities as may be required.

Minimum Qualifications * Education and Experience*

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) or higher preferred in Biology or similar field.
  • 3+ years channel management or relevant experience (Sales, Sales Operations, Project Management, Contract management)

Preferred Qualifications – Education and Experience

  • 3+ years in customer facing role
  • Working knowledge of CRM databases, Excel Pivot tables, and other tools for managing sales
  • Working knowledge of trade compliance and other regulatory limitations in international markets.

The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in San Diego, California is $35.72-$45.00/hour. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to: the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc. BioLegend is a multi-state employer and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states
