We are looking for a part time certified/licensed veterinary technician to join our team for average of 30 hours per week. We are not into micromanagement, this is not a corporation and this position is unique. We believe in finding your "fit", are we it for you?

We are different. This practice has been bootstrapped from ground zero (not a corporation) and we would love to have you along for the ride. We are celebrating the practice's 10th birthday this year. We are passionate about coming up with new ways of tailoring services to best provide comprehensive care for our mix of wonderful diverse patients and clients. Every day is different. Successful candidates will be dynamic problem solvers who love variety and working with both people and animals. Successful candidates will have confident working skills and knowledge of large animals including but not limited to cattle, small ruminants, equids, pigs, poultry and fowl. We see some farm dogs and cats on occasion, we are primarily a large animal practice.

Duties include: animal handling/restraint, communicating effectively with clients and team, carrying out technicians appointments, venipuncture, collection and preparation of biological samples for send out to a variety of reference labs, operation of in house blood chemistry analyzers, radiography (mobile and in office), surgical preparation, gas anesthesia operation/ monitoring, aid in Electronic Medical Record keeping + associated paperwork, organization and stocking of the office and mobile unit, surgical pack prep/cleaning/wrapping, autoclaving, sterilizing surfaces, sharing in cleaning tasks for general maintenance.

Must have a ME and/or NH veterinary technicians license, valid drivers license, reliable transportation and successfully pass a background check.
