responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly accounting journal entries related to cash, prepaids, fixed assets and various accrued expenses.
• Prepare supporting documentation for all monthly journal entries.
• Assist in reconciling, researching, and resolving inquiries concerning Accounts Payable.
• Regularly prepare and maintain detailed reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts
• Maintain the Fixed Assets sub-ledger and ensure that all asset additions are properly capitalized and depreciated according to company policies.
• Assist with recording payroll entries in the general ledger and payroll related entries such as month-end accruals.
• Prepare documentation for external auditors.
• Support accounts payable activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness of invoice entry and coding.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Cash Flows).
• Perform other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as needed.

qualifications:

• B.S. in Accounting or Finance, CPA +
• SEC Reporting Experience
• 5-8 years of experience in accounting and/or financial analysis
