SpineSearch is seeking an experienced Certified Medical Coder to join a hospital-affiliated pediatric group located in St. James, New York.

Requirements of the Certified Medical Coder:

• Associate's Degree (Or 5 years of medical coding experience)
• CPC certification (through AAPC)

Responsibilities of the Certified Medical Coder:

• Fulfill a variety of variety of complex and technical medical coding assignments
• Analyze, code, and abstract medical information
• Resolve coding discrepancies
• Review and revise rejected claims
• Run accounts receivable report (IDX)
• Track all IDX record requests
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management
