As a COTA, your goal is to restore, enhance and increase functionality. You will work in a skilled nursing environment, making a tremendous difference in the lives of your patients and helping them regain quality of life.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Current licensure in VA and nationally certified as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.

· Must have earned an Associates degree from an accredited school.

· Meet educational requirements established in the state of practice

· Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing

· Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance

· Current CPR certification.

· Provide skilled Occupational Therapy services / interventions in accordance with physician orders and under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Occupational Therapist / OTR.

· Implement and modify the patient's physical therapy plan of treatment under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Occupational Therapist / OTR .

· Effectively collaborates within an interdisciplinary team to meet patients goals
