Salary Description: Minimum Salary: $16+ per hour
Department: Long-Term Care- Schedule: Part-time, Evening Shift
- Facility: The Haven Our Lady of Peace, Long-Term Care
- Location: Pensacola Florida
Assists with basic patient care activities.
- Assist with procedures ordered by physician and supervised by a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Assist patients with tending to personal care, activities of daily living and transfers/transport.
- Report findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
- Assist with keeping patient rooms clean and orderly.
- Assure resident safety by identifying safety hazards and emergency situations and initiates corrective action as appropriate.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American HeartAssociation or American Red Cross accepted.
- Nurse Aide credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing - Certified Nursing Assistants obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
