POSITION TITLE: Certified Nurse Assistant
DEPARTMENT: Care Center
REPORTS TO: Director of Nursing, Care Center
JOB PURPOSE: To improve the health and wellbeing of our communities.
BASIC FUNCTION: Provides various direct, quality patient care activities to residents in a long term care environment. Assists patients in dressing or undressing, bathing, eating, etc. Implements specific procedures and programs; coordinates work within the department as well as with other departments. Reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor and documents resident interactions as needed. Responds to inquiries or requests for information. Assists immediate supervisor and nurses with tasks to support department operations. Performs a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Must have an active valid license as a Certified Nurse Aide in the State of Colorado. Must have current BLS card upon hire and maintain current status throughout GRHD employment. High School Diploma or equivalent or preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience in patient care preferred.
SALARY INFORMATION :
$17.50-$23.00 per hour Dependent on Experience
Additional $2.00 - $4.00 an hour for additional weekend and night shifts
