Job Description:
The Certified Medical Assistant will support members, employees, and clients by performing administrative, organizational, and clinical tasks. Individuals in this role will develop various skills, including but not limited to: a strong understanding of EMR systems, medical terminology, and clinical skills. Phlebotomy and IV Infusion experience is a plus. Background in Aesthetics is a plus. The CMA will also be responsible for handling the administrative and operational needs of the Practice Manager. We offer a competitive salary based on the applicant's experience.
Responsibilities:
- Work under the supervision of a medical provider.
- Answer phones and greet clients/customers.
- Handle correspondence.
- Provide clerical support for medical providers.
- Serve as a liaison between patients and medical providers.
- Prepare patient files for medical providers to review.
- Perform administrative tasks for medical providers, maintaining files with information about the patient and billing statements.
- Help medical providers with the administrative tasks of running the practice, including scheduling appointments, copying documents, and filing information with the state.
- Process payments made by patients (such as credit card payments).
- Assist during some aesthetic treatments under the direction of a provider.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
