We are excited to announce an immediate full time position for a Medical Assistant within our growing primary care practice.

Job applicants should be patient focused, with great personal skills and ready to jump in and learn. Job requirements within a typical day include:

· Meet and greet patients

· Rooming patients

· Phlebotomy,

· Height & weight

· Immunizations

· Update and maintain medical records and patient information in EHR

· Collect samples, fill out requisition forms, prepare samples for shipment

· Clean and prepare exam rooms

Also, the candidate would be crossed trained to fulfill Front Office duties. These duties are:

• Greet Patients
• Answer Phones
• Verify Insuraces/collect co-pays
• Schedule follow-up appts

Healthcare experience requested, but will consider recently graduated students with degree. Candidates should be comfortable and proficient with general computer skills, typing and electronic health records.
