Job description
SNF Healthcare, is searching for a Medical Supply Coordinator. Our ideal candidate should be able to perform the job duties listed below.
Job requirements:
- Restocks all unit shelves to maintain an adequate supply for the nursing staff on a daily basis
- Maintains an inventory that is not excessive
- Completes physical inventory daily and orders products as required
- Checks and removes expired products or those near the expiration date
- Records receipt appropriately and maintains pertinent records
- Works with Nursing Unit Managers to organize stock room and review par levels
- Maintains a clean and organized work area
- Clean storage areas should be maintained in accordance with Department of Health, JACHO and infection control standards
- Ensures that orders are delivered to the correct unit within 24 hours of delivery to the facility.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) required
- 1-3 years experience in a hospital setting highly preferred
- Ability to push, pull, walk or stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift 25-50 lbs
- Computer skills required: Will be required to use MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
