About the Role:

Arbour Counseling Services is excited to offer a Full Time Center Director opportunity for Licensed (LICSW, LMHC) individuals to oversee our Outpatient Program in Norwell, MA. This is an ideal opportunity to utilize management skills and interventions that will facilitate a high level of quality care for our clientele. Arbour offers individual therapy, group therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, medication evaluation & management, school-based treatment, and elder services within our Outpatient program.

The Center Director is responsible for the overall quality and fiscal management of a free standing clinic. The Center Director continuously assures that clinical services are in full compliance with applicable regulations and payer contract specifications. The Center Director promotes the development of the clinic through marketing and by cultivating relationships with other providers, local and state agencies, and managed care organizations. The Center Director ensures the site is profitable and, at minimum, meets budget.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Oversees policies and procedures for the Center which ensure regulatory compliance and high quality care.
  • Sets and monitors productivity levels of staff to ensure delivery of clinical services in a timely manner.
  • Maintains budgeted daily census.
  • Provides direct clinical supervision to Staff that results in a high quality of care and compliance with record keeping requirements.
  • Recommends appropriate action or review of any staff member whose performance does not meet expectations.
  • Ensures continual growth of the Center by coordinating marketing and staff recruitment efforts.
  • Promotes the success of the Program through fostering and maintaining referral sources.
  • Makes clinical decisions in the context of program goals and philosophy.
  • Responds appropriately to client crises.
  • Completes diagnostic evaluations and treatment plans accurately and timely.
  • Provides competent case management as exemplified by timely follow-up and by coordinating treatments with referral sources and collaterals.
  • Ensures the continual growth of the Program through effective selection and development of staff.
  • Plans and executes work systematically, and with established priorities for greater efficiency as well as efficiently utilizing personnel, equipment and staff to meet cost and quality standards.

  • Fosters staff development and growth of team
  • Provides regular coaching and feedback to employees to motivate performance
  • Completes performance evaluations providing thorough feedback and goals to assigned staff by established deadlines
  • Coordinates and provides day-to-day oversight to staff; actively involved in resolving employee matters/issues
  • Maintains open communication through regular rounding and one to one meetings with employees
  • Ensures staff comply with assigned education requirement in a timely manner (i.e., CIA Training, HIPAA training, competencies, etc.)
  • Responsible for holding staff accountable with upholding facility policies/procedures and managing the corrective action process when needed
  • Actively participates and champions the facility’s Service Excellence and Recognition Programs
  • Develops team building initiatives to engage staff and build a positive team dynamic
  • Actively participates in the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding for all staff within the team

Qualifications:
  • Masters Degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field
  • Current State Licensure: LICSW, LMHC, Lic. PhD required
  • Must be 3 years post licensure
  • Five years of psych experience preferably in a community health setting. Minimum of two years as a clinical supervisor or program manager preferred
  • Candidate must possess appropriate citizenship work documentation
  • Candidate must pass a CORI and drug test, as well as other pre-employment documentation
  • Candidate must provide proof of Covid-19 Vaccination Card or appropriate religious / medical exemption. Card must possess at least either two Moderna Vaccinations, two Pfizer vaccinations, or a J&J vaccination with an additional Moderna/Pfizer vaccination
