CDL Fuel Driver

CDL FUEL DRIVER JOB OVERVIEW:
Our heating fuel drivers deliver heating oil/propane to our residential and commercial customers
throughout the year. This can be a seasonal, part time or full-time position. The deliveries are heaviest in
the Nov-Feb timeframe throughout our delivery area of 80 CT towns. Drivers are responsible for:
- Safe and efficient delivery of fuels to our customers
- Safe deliveries during a variety of weather conditions, particularly winter weather
- Extended work hours based on heating needs of our customers
- Excellent driving record: drive defensively, adhere to company distracted driving policies,
- Effective daily use of windows-based tablets and have the ability to learn and effectively use our
industry specific software.
Drivers are expected to maintain a “clean” MVR, have (at minimum) an up to date Connecticut issued
class B CDL, medical card, H&N endorsement, and in some instances TWIC card.
