Would you like to be home with your family every night? Opal Foods is currently accepting applications for the position of CDL-A Driver for the Iowa Falls, IA Feed Mill operation.

This professional driver position is responsible for delivering chicken feed to local farms using company provided semi-trucks and trailers. Working hours are Monday - Friday, and may include some weekend and holiday hours as needed to meet customer requirements. Must have a clean driving record, excellent work ethic, be extremely reliable and punctual.

Position Responsibilities:
Successful candidate will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on truck and equipment, secure loads and equipment after load out and delivery of feed, and drive to assigned locations to perform unloading procedure per company and customer requirements. Will interact with other drivers, loaders, Opal Team Members and Contract Farmers in a positive and professional manner. At the end of the work day inspect truck and equipment to ensure it is in good working order for the following shift. Other duties may be assigned by leadership per business needs.

Requirements: (knowledge, experience, skills, education)

• Must have current CDL-A licensure with a clean driving record.
• 2 years professional CDL-A driving experience.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Basic record keeping capabilities.
• Demonstrated history of complying with all Department of Transportation regulations.
• Must comply with all company biosecurity, safety and driving rules.
