JOB TITLE: Catering Lead Server

REPORTS TO: Catering Banquet Manager

Mission Function: Providence Catering is a program of Second Harvest Food Bank designed to build lasting solutions to hunger and poverty. Our work provides culinary, hospitality, and life skills training and opportunities to gain resume building work experience that changes lives one recipe at a time. Our revenue is used to fund our Culinary Training Program, which prepares students for a sustainable career in the food industry.

Primary Responsibilities: Second Harvest Food Bank of NWNC's Providence Catering program is a top caterer in the Piedmont Triad. We cater to WinMock at Kinderton, Triple J Manor House, Tanglewood Park, and other off-site venues. We are looking for enthusiastic, hardworking Catering Event Servers with a passion for serving others.

Our Catering Event Servers are responsible for providing excellent customer service skills to clients and staff. Servers will execute events by setting up proper table settings, arranging stations for food and beverage, maintaining cleanliness of the space during and after events, and delivering friendly, courteous service to guests. We expect all of employees to come in with great attitudes and adhere to our company policies.

· One year of customer service experience (preferred)

· Bartending experience is a plus!

· A background check and drug screening will be required prior to employment.

What we look for:

· Scheduled hours will vary based off the needs of the company and your availability. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are the bulk of our business. Historically the months of April, May, October, and September are peak seasons for our business.

· Ability to pass background check and drug screening.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
