Cashier Job Description:

We are looking for a cashier who loves people and loves to work in a fast-paced environment! If you love to work at a job that is fun and rewarding -LOOK NO FURTHER!!!

A good job candidate is a person who knows their way around a cash register and can easily operate it, together with a product scanner. Their main responsibilities include accepting payments and providing receipts, making sure all customers are greeted with a smile, thanked, and is satisfied with the service.

The cashier we would like to hire is able to interact with our customers in a friendly manner, and provide assistance should any customer require it.

You are also responsible for maintaining a clean and tidy area, and lobby, which includes wiping down windows & doors, sweeping, etc.

With our on-the-job training, we will help you to learn our register and system, basic math skills are helpful. The biggest attribute is your smile!

Responsibilities of a Cashier:

• Greeting customers when entering and leaving the restaurant
• Ringing in guests using a cash register
• Balancing the cash register, counting the money at the beginning, and end of shift
• Scanning goods and making sure pricing and quantities are accurate
• Accepting payments in cash, and credit cards
• Providing change and receipts
• Issuing coupons, vouchers, stamps and gift cards
• Listening to guests and resolving customer complaints
• Bagging and wrapping food and drink for guests
• Upselling and cross-selling, and making produce recommendations

Cashier Job Requirements:

• You must be Friendly and helpful

• You must like a fast-paced environment.

• Basic computer knowledge - On the job training for register and scanner
• Good math skills
• Excellent communication skills

Ability to effectively resolve complaints.
