Refugee Resettlement assists in helping create a home-away-from-home, we assist government-approved refugees in becoming self-sufficient through cultural orientation, job development, family reunification and resettlement.


Join the Refugee Resettlement team as the Case Manager. The Case Manager I is responsible for working with clients participating in the refugee resettlement programs (including programs such as Preferred Communities and Social Adjustment Services). Also responsible for intake, assessment, and providing quality case management services for all assigned cases. The successful candidate will display dignity and respect toward both potential clients and clients already enrolled in the program, show initiative while balancing multiple responsibilities, and be able to work independently while following up on assigned cases.


The Expertise We're Looking For


  • High School Diploma or GED

  • One (1) year experience in an administrative setting or within refugee populations

  • Valid Texas driver’s license

  • You are able to demonstrate organizational and planning skills

  • You are able to demonstrate success in dealing with a various type of people

  • You are able to successfully document case notes

  • You are able to provide group and individual orientations for clients

  • You are able to handle confidential client information

  • You have intermediate proficiency in MS Office Suite

  • You have strong verbal and written communication skills


What you Deliver


  • You assess client eligibility for program services, complete intakes, and create individualized service plans. Provide services identified on service plan in a timely manner. Make necessary referrals within the agency and outside of the agency, as needed. Ensure that services are provided in accordance with LEP policy.
  • You maintain client files, update case notes, and update calendar. Ensure that all client information and activities are tracked in Client Track as well as Refugee Management Solution.

  • You perform other duties as assigned, such as assisting with outreach, training volunteers and interns, assisting with airport pick-ups, assisting with projects, etc.
