$15.00 per hour, Full-time position working 30 - 37.5 hours per week

The hours of operation for our center are 7:00 am to 5:30 pm but workday may start at 6:45 am

Easterseals Florida is seeking a dynamic and compassionate individual to work as an Activities and Care Specialist in our Gainesville adult day health care center, which serves adults with disabilities, dementia related disorders or other memory impairment conditions. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys being an early bird, loves to cook, and has a passion for caring for individuals with disabilities.

• Provide a safe, stimulating, and fun-filled day

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
• At least one year of experience providing care to persons with disabilities, dementia or other memory related disorders
• Current CPR/First Aid Certification
• Ability to work flexible hours when needed to meet the needs of the program
• A friendly demeanor that projects positivity towards families, coworkers, and visitors
• Someone who enjoys starting the work day early to help individuals with disabilities
