Education - Required
- Technical School Diploma as a Medical Assistant or
- Specialized Diploma as a Medical Assistant
Education - Preferred
- Associate's Degree Medical Assisting
Experience - Required
- 2 years experience interacting with patients and performing identified core functions of a MA. and
- 3 years experience working within a complex health system environment or related field.
Experience - Preferred
- 4 years experience or more, working within a complex health system environment performing some of these core function.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Required
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Enhances skills through continuing education.
- Ability to handle numerous tasks at the same time.
- Superior customer service skills.
- Working knowledge of basic computer functionality.
- Effective and professional written and verbal communication.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Critical thinking skills and solution focused approach.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Preferred
- Knowledge and experience with electronic medical records and scheduling software.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
Certifications - Preferred
- CCMA - Certified Clinical Medical Assistant - NHA or equivalent.

Schedule: Full Time 40 hours, Day Shift, M-F 7:30a-5p variable
