Schedule: Full Time

Shift: M-F 6:30a-3:00p plus call

The role you’ll contribute:

The Cardiac Sonographer will deliver safe and effective patient care as defined by AdventHealth's Mission, Vision, and Core Values and is consistent with the standards of care for this discipline. This position requires proficiency in performing cardiac diagnostic tests for the determination, treatment, and prognosis of cardiac disorders. This position requires knowledge of both department and hospital policies and procedures relating to the field of Cardiology.

  • Performs transthoracic echocardiograms
  • Performs transesophageal echocardiograms
  • Performs Doppler analysis.
  • Performs color flow analysis
  • Performs carotid and stress test echocardiograms.
  • Records, processes, files and charges daily pertinent patient data relative to job duties.
  • Performs qualify assessment and participates in performance improvement.
Qualifications


The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

  • HS graduate - AS degree preferred.
  • Current registry with ARDMS or CCI
  • BLS from American Heart Association
