To support our growing activity within the Prime Brokerage space in North America, at the Banking Financial Services industry of Capgemini Invent, we are currently looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Senior Manager to join our New York office. We are looking for a consulting professional who can lead and develop the PB practice.

Job Description / Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be recognized as an expert both internally and externally.
  • Capacity to lead and act as an expert with the model development or model validation team with a strong consulting experience and mindset.
  • Demonstrate capacity to lead projects, manage team of junior and senior staff and ensure client face off.
  • Represent and promote the firm internally, lead by example, inspire by acting as a role model, show leadership
  • Manage teams efficiently, motivate staff through communication and active management of skills, offer support and direction.
  • Participate in the defining and structuring of Capgemini Invent’s Prime Brokerage and Finance advisory service offerings.
  • Identify business opportunities on client accounts and organize actions to be taken to convert them into proposals and deals.
  • Be strongly involved in the global firm management (proposals, internal streams, articles, recruitment, training)
  • Understand and identify financial institutions key challenges and opportunities regarding constantly evolving regulatory and financial reporting context.

In general, as a Senior Manager at Capgemini Invent, you will be responsible for:

  • Assessing clients' problems critically, structuring analyses, applying analytical frameworks, and conceptualizing strategy development
  • Developing and maintaining knowledge of industry landscape and trends
  • Supporting internal practice development and business development activities
  • Accountable for ensuring successful project delivery in concert with the delivery executive, including:
  • Driving completion of services and deliverables, meeting or exceeding clients’ expectations of speed, quality, and budget
  • Standard Consulting responsibilities that include Completing status reports, Maintaining financials, Leading client communication, Onboarding and evaluating team resources etc.
  • Exhibits a strong ability to handle multiple demands with a sense of urgency, drive, and energy
  • Collaborate with team and clients to define long-term vision, goals, and strategies
  • Demonstrate strong consulting and advisory skillset including analytical capabilities, ability to synthesize content and translate it into sound recommendations and deliverables
  • Lead or be a team member on transformation projects with large client organizations
  • Accountable for ensuring the accurate reporting of personal and project team productivity (e.g., utilization rates)
  • Simplify and bring clarity to challenging situations, models, and issues to create structured actions and recommendations
  • Test and present insights and recommendations to clients
  • Demonstrate ability to drive blended teams of management consultants, junior team members, technology specialists, data analysts, and implementation specialists to deliver according to plan (schedule, scope, quality, and budget)
  • Mentor and coach others to deliver quality results and promote others' professional development

Expérience & Qualifications :

An ideal candidate is motivated to deliver high-quality work to drive customer satisfaction. This person uses their intellect, insight, and ability to build creative solutions with clients and colleagues while embracing a collaborative mindset. Key qualifications include:

  • An appropriate BA or BS degree (or equivalent) is required, and an advanced degree such as an MBA or related degree from a top tier program is preferred.
  • Proven record of accomplishment of success with:
    • ~15 years’ experience in a broker dealer / in a prime broker position
    • Business Mgr- / Coo for capital market team /COO of an hedge fund
    • Knowledgeable with hedge fund servicing and onboarding
    • Strong regulatory knowledge / regulatory reporting (CAT, TRACE reports, finra, sec reports)
    • Strong risk and controls skills
  • Experience managing and leading internal teams
  • Willingness to travel frequently, or as needed

Capgemini discloses salary range information in compliance with state and local pay transparency obligations. The disclosed range represents the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting, although we may ultimately pay more or less than the disclosed range, and the range may be modified in the future. The disclosed range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, geographic location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $160,000 - $200,000.

This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission.

Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.

Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable. The amount and availability of any bonus, commission, or any other form of compensation that are allocable to a particular employee remains in the Company's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified at the Company’s sole discretion, consistent with the law.
