About the role

We are looking for a Michigan based Cannabis agronomist to join our expanding team. Your primary focus will be to facilitate customer testing and commercial rollouts, including: responsibility for on-the-ground ownership of trial and operational plans with clients; ensuring that proper rigor and design are embedded into commercial engagements; performing routine crop-based assessments; and managing the territory’s data collection processes. This role will be largely focused on working with clients in Michigan, with some additional travel to our team hubs in Boston and Illinois.

What you do

· Execute experimental trials of BioLumic technology on Cannabis.

· Responsible for the on-the-ground operation plans with clients.

· Analyse experimental trial data in collaboration with Data Analysts.

· Communicate experimental findings to other team members.

· Work with feedback and input from team members; providing feedback and advice in return.

Trials and Analysis

· Conceive, design, and execute trials.

· Work with our multi-disciplinary team to deliver experimental outcomes that achieve strategic milestones.

· Use spreadsheets and statistical packages, including database software, to store and analyse data, and build perspectives using previous experimental findings.

· Involvement in field trials, including visiting trial sites and contractors, sometimes overseas.

· Work across disciplines to achieve experimental outcomes that take the business forward.

· Work closely with Lead Agronomist and R&D Manager to ensure project success against company milestones.

Health and Safety

· Compliance with all BioLumic Health & Safety policies and practices.

· Attendance at Health & Safety training and meetings as required.

· 1-3 years experience in Cannabis cultivation is essential.

Qualifications

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
