Call Centre Agent

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Channel Services department in Darlington as a Call Centre Agent on a permanent basis.

The role

The role is responsible for providing an efficient telephone service to ensure customer requests and queries are processed efficiently through the correct channel and in line with the agreed service levels and compliance standards.
The person We are looking for someone with substantial customer service experience who will be able to provide an efficient and professional telephone service so that enquiries can be processed accurately and in a timely manner. You will have some knowledge and experience with Microsoft packages including: Word and Outlook. Previous Call Centre experience would be desirable but not essential.

You will be customer-focused, with a passion for speaking to customers, possess a keen eye for detail as well as be confident and comfortable communicating with a broad range of stakeholders and suppliers. As a Call Centre Agent you will have the ability to multi-task and keep track of various activities, whilst demonstrating a positive can-do attitude. We are looking for someone who has the ability to build relationships over the telephone quickly, applying empathy and patience when dealing with sensitive and complex situations.
