You will be part of the Asda transformation programme team that is setting the direction of the company's systems, processes and organisational design to pave the way for our exciting future under new ownership.

Your role

As the Business User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Manager within the Programme team, you will be responsible for the coordination of all activities and dependencies of UAT to ensure the successful acceptance by the business owners of the delivery, which is a multiple component and technology solution.

Supporting defined test strategy and policies, in line with the programme delivery and test approach to ensure the alignment of resource.

This is a business wide change programme (“Future”) and therefore the role requires an individual who is confident in change and stakeholder management, is good at anticipating and cutting-through issues, can be decisive in decision-making and is resilient.

Responsibilities

To plan, manage and report on all aspects of User Acceptance Testing in line with testing standards and processes including:

• Identification of UAT stakeholders and resources
• Identification and approval of UAT scope
• Capture and planning of UAT preparation and test activities
• Producing and obtaining approval for plans and schedules
• Creation of UAT artefacts
• Coordination of resources required to prepare environments and data
• Reporting of progress to varying levels of stakeholders through the programme
• Supporting triage of defects and issues

About you

• Strong stakeholder and people management skills
• Experienced in test management
• Background in supporting business testing and acceptance
• Experienced in business transformation programmes with technology components
• Experience using multiple resource models including domestic, offshore, onshore and multi-country teams
• Experience of risked based testing scope management
• Ability to apply testing processes and terminology to practical scenarios, supported by excellent communication skills
• Ability to report and support communication to multiple levels of stakeholders
