Our Maintenance Department is adding a Business Systems Analyst to our team. The Business Systems Analyst role involves evaluating and modeling data, developing reports, and offering insights used to make key business decisions. This individual must possess the ability to see the big picture, but also dig into the details. This role is also responsible for resolving designated Shop IT-related issues in an efficient manner, as well as ensuring assigned systems are functioning optimally. Can work at our Fort Dodge headquarters or out of our West Des Moines office!

Business Systems Analyst Responsibilities:

• Analyzing and modeling data
• Developing reports
• Recommending solutions based on findings
• Building and publishing usable applications
• Responding to IT-related inquiries via phone, email, instant messaging, help desk, or in-person and provide timely and effective solutions to assigned technical issues
• Administrating user accounts for third-party services and provide end-user support for those services
• Installing and configuring hardware and software, as well as maintain and update existing systems to ensure optimal performance
• Assisting with development of internal training programs and provide training and guidance to end-users on how to properly use hardware and software
• Utilizing the Microsoft 365 suite of products for reports, data presentations, and application/tool development
• Utilizing the Help Desk software solution to document issues and resolutions, as well as maintain an accurate inventory of hardware and software
• Arrange for or assist with the procurement, setup, and licensing of new hardware and software
• Other duties as required

Business Systems Analyst Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience required
• Experience maintaining laptops, computers, scanners, printers, and tablets
• Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware, software, and applications
• Ability to navigate third party accounts, applications, and software
• Microsoft 365 experience particularly in Excel, Sharepoint or ability to master
• Cetaris experience preferred or ability to master
• McLeod software experience preferred or ability to master
• Ability to generate reports and provide data analysis in a timely manner
• Analytical skills such as critical thinking and problem-solving
• Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain data and findings to a non-technical audience.
• Strong attention to detail
• Mechanical experience and knowledge is a plus
