The Boeing Company is seeking a Business Process Analyst (Associate/Mid-Level) to join our team in Everett, Washington.

As the Business Process Analyst you will be working predominately in documentation coordination support.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Able to write and edit technical documentation for BCA Engineering customers according to enterprise style guides and writing governances

  • Provide technical accuracy, compliance, and completeness of content.

  • Maintain and perform quality-control checks and updates.

  • Coordinate across departments during the publication process

  • Maintain recordkeeping and electronic filing systems.

  • Partner with process subject matter experts (SME) to edit and coordinate revisions to BCA Engineering owned documents (PROs, BPIs, and supplemental writings).

  • Train, coach, mentor, and guide SMEs, managers, and other stakeholders in documentation revision processes.

  • Work with Enterprise documentation groups and conform to overall Enterprise standards.

  • Support standard revision cycles and out-of-sequence revisions.

  • Publish supplemental writings. Other duties as assigned.

  • Assist in efforts to identify opportunities to eliminate, consolidate and/or simplify process documents.

  • Support the transition from traditional documentation standards to evolving data and information management standards by entering and modifying process data to fit the standards. Assists with coordination of reviews, assessments, and audits of business process documentation, as required. May develop or assist with developing process standards, guidelines, methods and tools.

  • Provide support to teams to work within, integrate with or improve the existing process architecture.

  • Selected candidates will perform as Functional Administrator for BCA Engineering Document Management, utilizing the Enterprise tools and processes to maintain Policy, Procedure and Process writings.

  • Candidates will manage the BCA Engineering documentation workflow, acting as liaison for Enterprise SMEs and Process Owners to ensure compliance of required changes to PRO and BPI writings.

  • Qualified candidates will exercise use of technical writing skills, Boeing style guides, configuration management, project management principals, and Boeing knowledge in support of creation / revision / maintenance of PRO, BPI, and supplemental writings.

  • Selected candidates will additionally track and communicate team performance metrics by compiling weekly and monthly publication reports for the BCA Engineering function.

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

  • Ability to work with large cross-functional teams.

  • 1+ years of experience analyzing and documenting systems, applications, and processes.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):

  • BCA Engineering organization structure and process knowledge / familiarity.

  • Two or more years of experience with Microsoft Excel, Access, and creating metrics.

  • Demonstrated familiarity and use of Project Management and/or Program Management Best Practices tools

  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal.

  • Ability to follow an editing guide and written instructions

Typical Education/Experience:

Associate (Level 2):

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).

Mid-Level (Level 3):

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for Associate level: $75,650 - $102,350

Summary pay range for Mid-level: $90,950 - $123,050
