Your role

Are you interested in the financial services industry, and developing your knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Known Your Client (KYC) policy and requirements? Do you have the proven ability to effectively communicate and work with a variety of stakeholders?

We’re looking for a Business KYC Analyst to assist with the following:

  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of AML/KYC requirements for all stages of the client lifecycle, including new client onboarding as well as the required periodic review of existing client data.
  • Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders across the Firm, and with partner teams such as Operations, Quality Control, Compliance and Legal.
  • Align online process and procedure references with current internal policies and procedures, incorporating process changes and technology updates as they arise.
  • Develop general and targeted AML/KYC training materials and desktop reference guides for relevant client-facing employees.
  • Coordinate training events in partnership with field leadership including content creation and delivery, as well as confirming target audience and tracking follow-ups.
  • Maintain training records; provide documented evidence of training activities in response to audit and regulatory inquiries.

Your team

You’ll be working on the Business AML Office (BAMLO) field engagement team. We focus on driving strategy, implementation and oversight for the AML program within the Wealth Management USA business. We work in collaboration with key functional areas and WM field leadership to help our Financial Advisors serve their clients in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Your expertise

  • 1+ years’ experience in financial services, preferably Wealth Management or Operations, or comparable experience.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor your delivery to a given audience.
  • Ability to gather, consolidate and distill information from various sources and produce clear, impactful presentation and reference materials.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Highly collaborative work style and strong ability to build effective working relationships with all levels of employees across the organization.
  • A highly organized work style and ability to complete deliverables on time across multiple, evolving business priorities.
  • Experience in a client-facing or customer service role preferred.
  • Working knowledge of PowerPoint, Adobe, Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Webex.

Salary information

CA, CO, WA and NY based roles: The salary range for this role is $50,000 to $70,000 based on experience, education, and skill level. This role may be eligible for discretionary incentive compensation. For benefits information: ubs.com/usbenefits.
