Job Description:
The Business Intelligence Developer is responsible for the design and deployment of complex custom dashboards and Business Intelligence Solutions to our Business Stakeholders. The Business Intelligence Developer is responsible for collaborating and consulting with internal stakeholders, team members and business leaders to design, build and maintain Business Intelligence solutions and dashboards.

Key responsibilities include:
Gather business and technical requirements to drive collaborative discussions and develop solutions that deliver data insights and progressive dashboards.
Work with the Data Teams, Data Warehouse and Data Lake Architects, to identify and recommend enhancements to the underlying data assets, models and transformation logic for the data extracted from source systems.
Understand underlying data structures, context and complexities to architect, design, build business intelligence solutions that deliver the most optimal user experience and data insights.
Create and maintain the reporting database layer which supports reporting database structures, transformation rules that facilitate delivering efficient, consistent, and appropriate solutions using different BI tools and solutions.
Perform Query, Data Structures, Sematic Layer Design, Dashboard Design optimization in the BI Tool, Platform and Server Deployments, provide recommendations on Data Source Structure, security and dashboard troubleshooting enabling enhanced and superior end user experience.
Develop a deep understanding of multiple business domains to enhance data discovery and insight across the business.
Serve as subject matter expert in BI tool design, development and deployment to other creators in the analyst community.
Apply agile methodologies to design, development and delivery to enable business to meet their goals in a timely manner.
Apply meaningful visual techniques to easily highlight insights, findings and KPI's.
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum of Bachelor's degree preferred in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of experience, training and certifications
Strong experience in Healthcare Technology (EHR, EPI, ERP, Lab Systems, Radiology Systems, Patient facing applications)
Experience within Business Intelligence, Analytics, and/or Data Management.
Experience with large data sets across multiple data sources.
Experience developing KPI's, dashboards, meaningful visualizations.
4+ years of Business Intelligence reporting and/or BI Tool experience.
3+ years advanced SQL skills and data transformation experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal, team cooperation and communication skills.
Self-starter who is capable of effectively managing own time and ability.
Displays professionalism in stressful situation, including workload pressure and deadlines.
Ability to learn and apply new knowledge.

Pay Range
$85,309.53 - $140,431.20

Placement within the identified pay range is based on individual and market factors including, but not limited to, experience, education, credentials (including licenses and certifications), geographic location, market competition, skill set (including market availability of required skills), assigned/anticipated job tasks, and level of responsibility. These factors are considered without regard to an individual's status as a member of any protect group pursuant to federal, state, and/or local law.
