Job Description:
The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for the design and deployment of complex custom dashboards and Business Intelligence Solutions. The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for collaborating and consulting with internal stakeholders, team members, and business leaders to design, build and maintain Business Intelligence solutions and dashboards.

Key responsibilities include:
Gather business and technical requirements to drive collaborative discussions and develop solutions that deliver data insights and progressive dashboards.
Understand underlying data structures, context and complexities to architect, design, and build Business Intelligence solutions that deliver optimal user experience and data insights.
Assist and provide input for designing and maintaining reporting database structures and transformation rules that facilitate delivering efficient, consistent, and appropriate solutions using different BI Tools and Solutions.
Enhance and improve the efficiency, usability and value delivered to the end user, improving on the user experience, through evaluating and improving the artifacts built in the BI and Data platforms.
Drive developer learning sessions, evangelizing, and educating on leading design and development practices.
Conduct end user training sessions, showcase dashboard functionality, share discoveries and insights, enabling business users and stakeholders, maximize the use of data and insights from the BI Solutions.
Develop a deep understanding of multiple business domains to enhance data discovery and insight across the business.
Apply descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics to business functions, through data mining, KPI development, data visualization techniques, and analytical models.
Apply agile methodologies to data and dashboard design to accomplish business goals in a timely manner.
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of experience, training and certifications
Strong experience in Healthcare Technology (EHR, EPI, ERP, Lab Systems, Radiology Systems, Patient facing applications)
Experience within Business Intelligence, Analytics, and/or Data Management.
Experience with large data sets across multiple data sources.
Experience developing KPI's, dashboards, meaningful visualizations.
2+ years of Business Intelligence reporting and/or BI Tool experience.
2+ years intermediate SQL skill and data transformation experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal, team cooperation and communication skills.
Self-starter who is capable of effectively managing own time and ability.
Displays professionalism in stressful situation, including workload pressure and deadlines.
Ability to learn and apply new knowledge.

Pay Range
$74,149.92 - $122,107.44

Placement within the identified pay range is based on individual and market factors including, but not limited to, experience, education, credentials (including licenses and certifications), geographic location, market competition, skill set (including market availability of required skills), assigned/anticipated job tasks, and level of responsibility. These factors are considered without regard to an individual's status as a member of any protect group pursuant to federal, state, and/or local law.
