We are looking to hire a Business Manager with excellent organizational and analytical skills to join our team at Woodridge Interventions. If you are detail-oriented, knowledgeable on statistics, have strong problem-solving skills, and an investigative nature, this is the job for you!

In this role, you will be responsible for the coordination and oversight of payroll, billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial and operational reporting for the community, while also monitoring efficiency levels within all departments and financial resource utilization.

As the Business Manager, you will work in conjunction with the Executive Director and corporate personal to ensure the fiscal responsibility and financial health of the facility.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead, guide, and direct the financial operations of the community in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles as well as local, state, and federal regulations
  • Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate and direct the overall financial operation of the community as well as its programs and activities
  • Report the community’s financial performance monthly, and more frequently as needed to the Executive Director and Finance Directors
  • Identify, in conjunction with the Executive Director and selected department directors, the community’s key performance financial indicators. Establish an ongoing system to monitor these key indicators through designated reports
  • Develop and implement processes and systems in the Business Office to manage billing, collections (A/R), accounts payable (A/P), resident trust, liability notices, general ledger functions, business/payroll taxes, purchase orders, cash flow and all necessary business transactions using GAAP
  • Fiscal grant management to include budgeting, procurement, and reporting.
  • Periodically generate service line level pro forma statements for break-even analysis and other modelling needs at the direction of management.
  • Process payroll bi-weekly
  • Maintain schedules for capital expenses and fixed asset depreciation
  • Ensure community’s billing checks and balance are followed by all team members.
  • Lead and coordinate daily, weekly, bi-monthly or monthly financial meetings to monitor budget compliance with community department directors
  • Leads budget development.
  • Complete and analyze community monthly financial reports. Makes recommendations and financial projection reports to the Executive Director regarding community performance and stated objectives

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a business office supervisory capacity.

Other Qualifications:

  • At least twenty-one (21) years of age.
  • Criminal clearances
  • Physical exam, drug test
  • Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.
