We are seeking a Business Development Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be a business development leader who can generate new business opportunities by qualifying leads and identifying viable opportunities. In this role, you will focus on growing the business by increasing our client base using service selling strategies and implementing a business development plan that includes event marketing and social media campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and execute an effective sales strategy and business development plan that includes cold/warm calling, community outreach, identifying referral sources, event marketing, & social media campaigns.

· Connect with potential clients using networking, cold calling, emailing, etc.

· Audience acquisition for educational financial workshops

· Develop compelling messaging for social media campaigns

· Support the wealth manager and leadership team with timely fulfillment of post-client meeting deliverables

Required Skills & Qualifications:

· BA/BS Preferred

· 3+ years of proven work experience as a Business Development Specialist, Sales Account Executive, or similar role in the in the financial services or wealth management industry

· Ability to qualify and convert leads into clients using cold-calling and warm-calling skills

· Professional and assertive selling style

· Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

· Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills

· Collaborator – able to work well with other staff members

Schedule:

· Monday – Thursday: 8:00am - 4:30pm

· Friday (half day): 8:00am - 1:00pm

Other Employment Requirements:

· Three (3) professional references

· Fingerprinting and background check

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
