We are looking for high-energy, driven professionals with sound business acumen, intellectual curiosity, and natural sales instincts to join our Sales organization as a Business Development Representative. Your purpose will be to uncover and qualify new opportunities across our target market. You'll be measured on your ability to create opportunities that lead to new business. Ideal candidates should be eager to advance their careers by demonstrating their ability to be tenacious self-starters every day. As a Business Development Representative at Kanarys, you’ll be an instrumental player in our growth.

What you’ll do:

  • Research target new accounts, identify key personas, add contacts, and emails, and generate interest through cold discovery calls and email campaigns.
  • Educate and qualify prospects about our transformative technology and approach to solving DEIB challenges.
  • Create opportunities for our Account Executive team through a combination of cold calling, email campaigns, and social selling techniques.
  • Work closely with Account Executives to build a pipeline for Kanarys products
  • Track and manage prospects through Salesforce.
  • Participate in team meetings, networking, and activities to grow the business.
  • Providing valuable market and product feedback to continue to drive Kanarys’ business development strategy.
  • Consistently achieve meeting quota to ensure territory revenue and growth objectives are met.
  • Work directly with marketing to drive continuous improvement in lead quality conversion rates and pipeline generation.

  • A passion for solving DEIB challenges. Strong DEIB acumen is a plus.

  • Clear, succinct communicator – Using your customer’s language, you’ll help them clearly understand the value Kanarys delivers.
  • Innately curious – You’ll know your buyer, their business, and what Kanarys and DEIB excellence means to their success.
  • Collaborate and win as a team – You’ll compete, but above that, you’ll collaborate, you’ll share what is working, you’ll help the team win, and you’ll take on projects outside of closing deals.
  • Ability to establish a personal connection with prospects using virtual technology tools.
