Business Development Manager (Sports)
About us
Gameday Logistics is the premier solution for sports travel management.
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team and provide creative ideas to help grow our business. You will collaborate with our President and Director of Sales in all stages of sales campaigns. Your insightful contribution will help develop, expand and maintain our client channels. This position will help you acquire sales/account management skills and provide you with knowledge of various business growth strategies. Ultimately, you will gain broad experience in growing a business and should be prepared to enter any fast paced work environment.
Responsibilities
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
- Perform online and in-person demos to coaches, directors, and decision makers
- Establish, nurture and secure prospects culminating in new revenue
- Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory
- Keep abreast of industry trends, and product development requests from current/prospective customers and report back to the team
- Communicate any unique customer requests with members of the account management team
- Other duties, initiatives, and projects may be assigned from time to time
Skills
- Strong desire to learn along with professional drive
- Solid understanding of different sales techniques
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office/Google Drive
- Passion for the sports/athletic industry
- BS or Masters degree
- Former collegiate athlete is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $3,500.00 - $6,500.00 per month
