Snelling Staffing Service is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our Mobile Alabama team filling a relationship sales position. You'll be a part of an award-winning team that has earned a reputation for delivering exceptional service and quality candidates. This position will take over a mix of existing accounts and new sales territory. To excel in this role, you should be an active listener, have a compelling sales personality and a hunger to chase and close new business from cold calls and inbound warm leads.

The person hired for this position is responsible for identifying new business through prospecting, qualifying, and developing relationships with all key decision makers within an account. Methods will include telephone and social media contact, in person prospecting, and scheduled on site visits.

Business Development Manager duties:
1. Contact potential clients, establish rapport and arrange meetings
2. Plan and oversee marketing initiatives
3. Research companies and decision makers to find new opportunities
4. Find and develop new markets, improving sales
5. Create quotes and proposals
6. Attend industry events, meetings, conferences, etc.

Business Development Manager requirements:
1. Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in sales, marketing or related field
2. High school diploma, a 2-4-year degree in business, marketing or related field preferred
3. Experience with the consultative sales strategy
4. Ability to manage multiple complex projects
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and IT fluency
6. Must be enthusiastic with a desire to excel in a sales position

1. Base salary, commission and bonus
