We are a privately contracted security firm in the Wisconsin area hiring a Business Development Manager to join our organization.

Reporting to the organization’s Senior Executive, the Business Development Manager is responsible for utilizing appropriate sales and business management methodologies to develop profitable business growth in the Wisconsin Market. The ideal candidate is both a ‘hunter’ and ‘farmer.’

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Identify prospects and develop all aspects of sales strategies to secure new business
  • Analyze local & expansion markets to identify sales opportunities, prospective companies, and associated buyers
  • Develop pricing and business development strategies
  • Prepare proposals, RFP responses, and sales presentations
  • Work with local management to help identify and position growth opportunities
  • Plan and organize activities that build our brand in the market

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree; however, relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree
  • Three or more years of Security Industry sales or management experience; experience in related industries may be considered
  • Valid driver's license

Other

  • Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
  • Must be willing to travel between client locations, and able to work flexible hours to include weekends, evenings, and extended hours
  • Subject to a drug screen, criminal background check, and motor vehicle check, to the extent permitted by law
  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated if prior military
  • Must be willing to provide any applicable non-competition agreements for review prior to offer

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 annual + commission structure (including residual)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
