Job Summary

The purpose of this position is to provide client services and business development support to the Valuation & Advisory Services (VAS) US Right Of Way (ROW) Specialty Practice Group.

Duties and Responsibilities

Monitor procurement websites and identify national requests for proposal (RFP) and requests for quote (RFQ) which are appropriate to pursue.

Produce responses for national and cross-division ROW related RFP/RFQs.

Onboard and implement internal and external software as needed

Update and maintain national marketing materials and RFQ/RFP templates.

Develop and maintain tracking system to coordinate capture rate of RFP/RFQ’s including revenues, project details, etc.

Other National Business Development and National Practice Lead support as needed.

Communicate ROW specific operations needs to regional Operations Managers and help generate/facilitate solutions for operational issues.

Miscellaneous support for client events.

Other miscellaneous tasks as needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities

No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. May provide informal assistance such as technical mentorship, and/or training to coworkers. May coordinate and assign tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from 4-year college or university required. Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred.

Certificates and Licenses

Real Estate license preferred

Interpersonal Skills

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret various types of business documents. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches, and articles in a pre-designed style and format. Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, supervisor, and/or management. Ability to present information to an internal department and/or large groups of employees. Strong collaborator, ability to cross-collaborate with various teams across the advisory services platform.

Financial Knowledge

Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, growth rates, discounts, and other fundamental Excel formulas. Conduct basic financial analysis. Use of financial tools for analytics and problem solving.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to complete problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills. Ability to interpret multiple sources of data to build threads of opportunity or value creation.

Other Skills and/or Abilities

Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.) Proficiency in database and web-based research technology.

Scope of Responsibility

Decisions made with understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and timelines. Responsible for setting own project timelines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to coworkers and supervisor.
