Business Analyst (Mobile Applications)

Remote Work Within the Continental United States

Brandt Information Services, the leading provider of SaaS technology and marketing services for state wildlife and parks agencies, is paving the way to better communicate and serve the public through their journey to go camping, fishing, boating, hunting, or hiking on public land. The Business Analyst supports the Product Manager with customer implementation and maintenance activities related to the scope of the Mobile Applications scrum team (“Functional Scope”). This position reports directly to a designated Product Manager.

Primary Responsibilities Include:
  • Support assigned Product Manager with maintaining, prioritizing, and scheduling the backlog of changes to the Functional Scope
  • Participate in design meetings related to the Functional Scope
  • Provide customer production support related to Functional Scope
  • Develop business requirements documentation and stories
  • Adhere to Brandt's Software Development Lifecycle

Recommended Skills Set:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 1 – 3 + years’ experience in technical documents/requirements gathering role working preferably with Mobile Applications
  • 1 + years’ experience in the field of Mobile Applications
  • Familiarity with publish/release cycle of mobile applications
  • Good understanding of AGILE development principles
  • Good ability to communicate with customers and individual team members
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Jira experience preferred
  • Some SQL experience preferred

Position Location:
This position may be full-time remote within the continental United States. Brandt has office locations in Tallahassee, Florida; Hunt Valley, Maryland and Denver, Colorado should the selected candidate live close to one of these locations and desire to work in an office-setting. The standard work hours for this position will follow Eastern Standard Time .

Compensation & Benefits:

  • An annual base salary of $55,000 - $75,000 determined by factors including but not limited to geographic location, skills, qualifications, and experience
