High level description
1. Seeking a business analyst type of resource with technical writing experience to help decompose processes and write procedures
2. Will also handle operational and administrative tasks associated with Wells Fargo risk and control related objectives and associated systems when content is tracked and stored
3. Experience with Sharepoint a plus; Merchant Services experience desired but not required
4. This is a 6 month contract assignment
In this role, you will:
Gain a solid understanding of Wells Fargo Merchant Services Policy and Procedures
Engage cross functional teams to strategize, plan, and execute a variety of risk and controls programs and initiatives
Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate
Ensure dependencies, risks, issues, and decisions are tracked in the appropriate system of record
Keep teams up to date on changing policies and standards ensuring adherence/risk awareness.
Provide subject matter expertise and interpretation of change procedures to product teams and communicate information and updates
Interact with peers, product teams and other stakeholders on coordinating activities
Provide assistance with meetings, including scheduling and the capturing and distribution of meeting minutes and action items along with properly archiving artifacts in accordance to line of business procedures and applicable company policies.
Review strategic approaches and effectiveness of support function and business performance
Assist with performing assessments through fact finding and data requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues, and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations
Collaborate and consult with members of the Business Transformation team and team leaders to drive various risk and controls initiatives
Provide a high level of professional support which includes ongoing ad-hoc project and business initiatives such as tracking deliverables
Review initiatives including policy or process changes, process improvements, and conduct regular reviews to identify efficiencies and gaps
Effectively manage work requests to meet performance expectations.
Required Qualifications, US:
5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, Risk and Controls, or Business Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
5 + years of project execution experience
3 + years of financial services
Track record of working effectively in a team environment, across all organizational levels, , and building superior partnerships with a broad set of partners.
Demonstrated experience documenting detailed requirements/user stories, developing project plans, managing issues to resolution, and documenting clear/concise meeting minutes.
Ability to tactically drive multiple initiatives, solve problems, prioritize work, meet deadlines, and learnquickly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Excellent communication and relationship/partnership building skills.
Proficiency in Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), Jira, and SharePoint Online.
Experience managing multiple and competing priorities
Experience making timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Job Expectations:
Support the execution of various risk and controls initiatives in partnership with key stakeholders and partner organizations, while adhering to compliance / privacy and risk policies.
Develop business requirements/user stories (when necessary), project plans, resolve project or business issues, and may include providing recommendations for product or process enhancements.
Provides support to project teams, identifies and tracks project goals, objectives, deliverables, constraints and issues, monitors completion of tasks to ensure that project goals are achieved.
Monitoring and report out on metrics such asscorecards to track performance of initiatives and programs; develop executive summaries to provide overall status of initiatives/programs to senior management.
May include managing risk mitigation initiatives and programs to support operational, process improvement, change management, vendor and digital property management, records management, issue monitoring and status reporting, and audit coordination activities
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
