Position Description

Exeter Information Technology Services is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to support the US Army Contracting Command (ACC) Chief Information Officer\G6 Headquarters (HQ), located at 4505 Martin Road, Redstone Arsenal (RSA), AL, provides contracting policy oversight to 100 different contracting offices and subordinate commands located world-wide. The ACC enterprise consists of over 6,200 military and civilian contracting professionals located at contracting offices across the contiguous United States (CONUS) and outside the contiguous United States (OCONUS). Information Technology (IT) services supports ACC’s global contracting mission to the warfighters through the full spectrum of military operations.

The HQ ACC’s Chief Information Officer (CIO) and G6 staff provides critical mission support services designed to enable the workforce with applicable secure technology solutions that will reduce and ultimately eliminate manual business processing and generate resource cost savings and efficiencies for the ACC enterprise.

The Business Systems Analyst facilitates requirements gathering sessions, researches, analyzes and make recommendation on technical solutions to meet the business automation and/or efficiency need requested by the customer. Extensive direct communication between Business Systems Analyst and ACC customers will occur.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate discussions via telecom, face to face, E-mail, or video teleconference with the ACC customer to understand the IT requirement.
• Provide Customer with solid Governance principles, best business practices and governance framework to ensure solid data foundation and structures are developed as organization moves forward.
• Formally document IT requirements in the format to be provided by the Government.
• Conduct research and analysis on possible technical solution to the meet the customer’s IT requirement using resources such as, but not limited to, the Army Portfolio Management System, Computer Hardware Enterprise Software and Solutions, Gartner, any WEB search engine.
• Perform analysis on benefits, risks, costs, and schedule on all possible technology solutions available to meet the customer’s IT requirement and develop a cost benefit analysis presentation to present to the ACC G6 Governance Division Chief.
• Prepare presentations and present their analysis conducted with the identified recommended technology solution to Senior Level Government representatives.
• Based on the direction of the Government, maintain the Governance Standard Operating Procedure, process workflow, and established regulation.
• The ideal candidate will be aware and stay abreast of current, new and emerging IT technologies and will be able to translate their knowledge into workable solutions for the customer.
• Experienced I the use of Microsoft Excel, DataVerse and other provided data sources to collect and organize data for analysis and dashboarding.

Requirements

• Secret security clearance
• 3 years of professional experience with respect to IT programs
• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, scientific, and/or technical discipline. Additional years of work experience can be substituted for degree.
• IAT Level II certified Security+ or other IAT Level baseline certification
• Acceptable Computing Environment (CE) Certification or Training - Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) or equivalent

Qualifications

• Experience with Power BI, MS Power Applications, Dataverse, etc.
• Information Technology knowledge base and Intellectual Curiosity about how to create efficiencies in current systems and tech available to support those enhancements.
• Ability to clearly communicate and produce communication tools to convey intricately technical ideas.
• Team player able to work across multiple mediums in a hybrid work environment.
