As the Business Analyst, the individual is responsible for developing and implementing processes and procedures, ensuring quality control through quality assessments, as well as assessing organizational business solutions and operations, while establishing a culture of continuous improvement. In this role, the Business Analyst’s duties include developing and analyzing reports, research, establishing processes and reviewing operating procedures, strategizing ideas to improve business operations and meeting with leadership and other stakeholders to provide suggestions based on their analysis. In addition, the Business Analyst will coordinate with leadership, department heads and IT support personnel to streamline processes and increase productivity among employees.

Responsibilities
  • Develops standard operating procedures and quality assessment and control processes
  • Gathers and analyzes data for potential business and operational process development.
  • Identifies specific opportunities to improve processes and procedures
  • Influences stakeholders to support operational projects
  • Assists with project management for selected projects
  • Coordinate with different departmental and division teams to produce better project outcomes
  • Tests business and operational processes and recommend improvements
  • Converts roadmap features into smaller user stories that are easier to complete
  • Develops reports of actionable information for organizational decision-makers
  • Writes clear and well-structured project and process requirements/documents
  • Creates reports, dashboards and visualizations to understand operational performance
  • Analyzes process issues and bottlenecks to make improvement.
  • Communicates and validate requirements with relevant stakeholders
  • Develops and maintains reporting tools
  • Performs data discovery, analysis, and modeling
  • Collaborate with leadership and project managers on roadmap planning and prioritization.
  • Performs other tasks as required by BME and the Government contracting office
Required Qualifications/Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance or related field, preferred
  • PMP or Industry-Approved Certification required, such as Scrum Master Certification
  • Two or more years of Business Analyst experience
  • Five (5) years management and supervision in a military environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must possess great analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Superior presentation and negotiation skills
  • Strong management and organizational skills
  • Adaptable and capable of working in fast-paced environments
  • Shall have knowledge of all the computer-based tools for project management
  • Must have project management experience
  • Must have knowledge of how to Analyze new and complex business-related problems and create innovative solutions that normally involve the schedule, technology, methodology, tools, solution components, and financial management of the project
  • Must have and maintain a Secret or Higher clearance
