Opportunity

Reporting to the Communication Director, this position supports the management and execution of brand communications for B2B, B2C and internal audiences, within Kohler’s internal creative agency, the Beacon. The role acts as a brand manager ensuring adherence to the brand guidelines and managing partner relationships while also managing projects executed through the internal agency.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Marketing teams to develop annual MarComm Strategy and Financial Plans inclusive of key leading/lagging metrics for success.

  • Intake projects from Marketing partners, ensuring key details are included to execute impactful creative, including photography, video, collateral, new product launches, campaigns, websites, and tradeshows.

  • Activate projects with the creative and studio teams, shepherding them through the development process while representing the voice of the consumer.

  • Lead key milestone reviews with internal stakeholders and business partners.


• Be the subject matter expert of brand standards and drive consistency across all businesses and global regions.

• Be a resource for competitive and inspiring creative in and outside the industry.

  • Manage overall resources for the business, project timelines and costs and communicate details with internal agency and business partners.

  • Coordinates work from Kohler’s internal centers-of-excellence teams, including social media, PR and media. This may include concept/layout, copy, design, photography, audio and video production for campaigns or activations.


• Produces project documentation including Communication Plan, Meeting Minutes, risk and issues logs, work breakdown structures and weekly management status reports.

  • Mitigates risks for challenges related to delays, product changes, resourcing, and reprioritization.

Skills/Requirements

  • Bachelors’ Degree in relevant field including Communications, Advertising or Marketing with a minimum of 8 years of experience.

• Creative agency or experience at in-house agency preferred.

• Knowledgeable of project management processes.

• Detail oriented and ability to problem-solve with creative solutions.

• Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects and multiple teams simultaneously with strong organization skills.

• Passionate about creative, seeks new approaches and willing to take risks.

• Builds strong relationships, collaborating, and communicating with partners.

• Studio experience preferred.

  • Workfront software experience preferred.
