Branch Operations Manager: (Pay Range $70,000-$100,000 per year)
ADT Solar is currently looking for a Branch Operations Manager (BOM) . This is a leadership position overseeing day-to-day operations in the respective location. The Branch Operations Manager is ultimately responsible for organizing, motivating, and leading the operations team as well as the safety, quality, efficiency, and ultimately the customer experience.
Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Ensure customer satisfaction is a top priority
  • Responsible for the safety, quality, efficiency, and customer experience of the residential solar installation projects that are completed by the branch
  • Oversee P&L for the branch by developing, managing, and reporting on crucial revenue and margin metrics
  • Work closely with the Construction Supervisor, Branch Administrative Manager, and Coordinators to understand the installation volume forecasts and fluctuating branch resources and to schedule in line with capacity and performance targets
  • Analyze performance data to eliminate bottlenecks and ensure optimal performance of all solar installations, inspections, casework, and site surveys
  • Understand and manage branch operation performance to KPI targets and actual results
  • Review efficiencies and manage team leaders to maintain customer communication and maximize team effectiveness
  • Monitor and oversee the daily production and performance of the office and its employees while identifying and implementing opportunities for continuous improvement and education/training
  • Lead by example to enforce safety and training program(s)
  • Resolve project, customer, and staff escalations
  • Manage, motivate, and mentor a variety of personnel involved in the installation and service of solar projects through a positive, hands-on culture while mitigating issues that might arise
  • Oversee inspections and commissioning
  • Update appropriate statuses in project management software
  • Communicate and coordinate with Territory Sales Manager regularly to ensure alignment
  • Work closely with the Regional Operations Manager or the Director of Operations to provide accurate installation forecasts and branch performance reporting

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Must be a motivated team player looking to succeed
  • Ability to follow instructions, clearly give instructions, learn quickly, and know when to ask questions
  • Excellent people skills, able to manage, motivate and discipline if necessary
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Professional appearance and customer interaction
  • Operationally focused; detailed oriented but able to grasp the big picture
  • Must possess a strong work ethic and be able to lead by example
  • Possess strong electrical, construction, and solar skills/knowledge
  • Able and willing to dive deep, get involved, and do the things that need to get done
  • Most importantly, any candidate must fit a company spirit where people work smart, play hard, have fun, and are dedicated to success
  • Electrical Certification (per state requirement)
  • 5+ years of Electrical/Solar experience (preferred)
  • NABCEP certification is a big plus
  • College Degree (preferred)
  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Proficient with MS Excel, MS Word, and project management tools (MS Project)
  • Knowledge of the NEC and applicable codes and standards
  • Must have electrical experience/knowledge
  • Ability to manage a $1-10M P&L
  • Success in Customer-facing roles
  • Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus
