JOB SUMMARY

The Financial Operations Associate role is client facing and provides everything from full charge bookkeeping to accounting services directly within each client’s business. Each client will be different and may need support in a variety of areas, including: bookkeeping data entry, reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, sales tax filings, inventory management, payroll and benefits administration, month-end close, and financial statement preparation and reporting. This role will function as a member of the client’s team, including communicating with clients, vendors, and employees.

To succeed in this role, you will need to work within the given budget for each client, use the client’s financial softwares, adapt to scope changes, and be willing to jump in to support new clients or other team members. Associates are responsible for between 5 to 15 clients at a time depending on their work schedule and client budgets.

This can be a part-time or full-time employee position depending on your availability, areas of interest, and expertise.

This is a 100% remote position with flexible hours. We strive to help our team maintain a better work/life balance by offering flexibility that meets your needs. If you're looking for a refreshing alternative to the overworked firm/agency experience, or from running your own firm, we highly encourage you to apply.
