SUMMARY

Prepares daily deposits, reconciles cash clearing and other balance sheet accounts, posts warranty payments.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following.

  • Receives daily sales from various departments and prepares daily deposit for pickup by armored services.
  • Reconciles daily sales with funds received.
  • Conducts cash audit counts at various departments for petty cash and change fund.
  • Maintain collections/ accounts for A/R and NSF returned checks
  • Posts warranty payments received from OEM.
  • Performs monthly reconciliation of warranty receivable to OEM statement and proposes write off.
  • Performs other balance sheet reconciliations as required.
  • Reconcile advances, garnishments and returned checks for all department.
  • Serves as backup for accounts receivable function.
  • Maintains a professional appearance.
  • Keeps work area neat and clean.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Attends departmental meetings when necessary.
  • Reports to work on time everyday as scheduled
  • Operates office machines such as computer, typewriter, adding machine, calculator and copier.
  • Files correspondence and other records.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have previous 3+ years accounting experience.
  • Detail oriented with excellent follow through and verbal/written communication skills. Intermediate knowledge of excel preferred

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must Have Valid Guam Driver’s License., related accounting certifications or training.

  • Must be able to sit for long period of time; bend; lift; reach; and stand.
  • Must be able to lift 10 to 15 lbs. Administrative work requires working on a PC system 75% of the working day.
  • Must be able to work under extreme pressure.
